So why Network Marketing Lead Generation in Bed? A very wise person once told me that you can add the phrase “in bed” to the end of every fortune cookie and it makes sense (and is usually quite funny).
Allow me to demonstrate:
An old pot is the best around the kitchen . . .in bed (yeesh! I don’t know)
If you have many best friends, you have no friends . . .in bed (haha! yes!)
One must be available, alert, active, and adaptable . . .in bed (I’m listening. . .)
Concern yourself about others more than yourself . . .in bed (Guys, take note on that one)
Hey! Could I have gotten any more off topic there? Nope, not this time.
Seriously though, do that the next time you open a fortune cookie and amaze your friends.
Ok, back to Network Marketing Lead Generation
Geez, there are so many MLM Lead Generation techniques to choose from it’s kinda overwhelming. We can definitely break it down into two main groups.
Offline Network Marketing Lead Generation and Online Network Marketing Lead Generation.
Offline Network Marketing Lead Generation
Usually this is how people get started. You know, when your sponsor told you make a list of your 20 closets friends and family members and call them up to see if they were interested? That was a form of offline network marketing lead generation.
There are other ways to market your business offline as well though. You can use bandit signs (those are the signs you see on the side of the road that say things like “We Buy Houses”). You can do the same message on a sticky note that you put on your bandit signs and stick them around town on gas pumps or in the business section at the book store.
You can also use cold calling to do a little MLM Prospecting. Target sales professionals in your area like Realtors, Mortgage Brokers, Financial Planners. . . Get creative!
Here’s a great idea! We do something called “networking” to promote our network marketing business. This is actually a great approach. Join some business, entrepreneurial and networking groups and start attending them. Talk to people. Connect with people. When you first start going, don’t bring business cards or even start talking about your opportunity unless the person you are talking to specifically asks you. Just ask them questions. Get their business card. Then follow up with them a day or two later and ask them if they are “open to a side project that doesn’t interfere with what they are currently doing.”
There are other ways too. Just do a bit of research. Come up with your own ideas. Ask your upline.
There are TONS of options here as well. So many, in fact, you need to be careful because you can easily keep learning new ways and starting some new technique every day. That is not a good thing to practice. Really think about what you want to focus on and stick with it. Master it. And then you can move on to something else.
A good way to generate some Free MLM Leads online is by creating unique content through you’re own blog or by using article marketing. Use those to direct interested prospects into your sales funnel by giving then something of value for free and using an email autoresponder to follow up with them.
Facebook and Twitter are other great ways to connect with people towards your network marketing lead generation efforts.
Now I know all of this can be overwhelming! I’m guilty of jumping from one technique to another when I first started.
Just trust me. FOCUS on one thing at a time and you will get results.
