When taking out the screens for window cleaning be sure you can see where the screen will land otherwise you should bring it in and carry it down. If you are up on a third story you might want to carry those down. If your screen does not float down you could break them, which is not a good way to start off your San Diego window cleaning job.
Some screens can be very difficult to remove as they have been in for a long time. It is not uncommon for screens to corrode, or for bugs and dirt to wedge the screen in the window frame. You might need to use a tool to get the screen out. A great Carlsbad window cleaning tool for this is a screwdriver or a paint can opener.
Sometimes you may need to approach the screen from the outside to use these tools. Whatever you do don’t force the screen out, otherwise you may bend or break the screen, even rip the screening itself. If a screen does not want to come out and you think it could get damaged always talk with the Oceanside window cleaning customer and explain the situation. Tell them that it may get damaged or that you may need to rip it out as its permanently stuck or the house has settled in order to do window cleaning for that window.
Sometimes these things happen when with the screens. Often times the screens are really old, it is not uncommon for the frame to bend, the screen to rip or the corners break. If you suspect there is going to be a problem for your Escondido window cleaning job, tell your customer upfront so that they know something could break due to old screens.
New screens should not have these problems unless they are to big to begin with and jammed into the window frame.
